5th November 2026

This will be a growing collection again one day but, in the meantime, an anniversary...

From Russ Hunt's Facebook page:  "While The Wonder Stuff celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, today I celebrate my 39th…  39 years since I did my first gig as a “roadie”.  “You know how to tune a guitar” they said, “come with us to the ULU in London, stand at the side of the stage and look like you know what you’re doing”!  We arrived, dumped the gear in the middle of the room and they all promptly buggered off and left me with it…I should have known right then 😂"

For Russ and everyone else who was there or who wants an insight into the early sound of The Wonder Stuff, here is an audio recording of the whole show.
